Norwalk, California
The City of Norwalk is located in southeastern Los Angeles County and is about 17 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
With easy access via a variety of freeways including the 5, the granddaddy of them all you will find the City of Norwalk to be a great location.
The community is very well located for access into downtown Los Angeles on the west or Orange County to the east. Other freeways in the city include the 605 freeway on the west side, from there it’s a straight shot south the the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean in Long Beach. The 105 heads west toward LAX and the 91 freeway on the south side heading both directions.
The city size is just under 9 ½ square miles with a population of around 110,000.

The city is home to Cerritos College first established in 1955. An interesting side note the movie Grease 2 was filmed at Excelsior High School as the fictional Rydell High. At one time Excelsior was one of the early high schools in the area dating back to the early 1900’s.
